Alaska is on the cusp of a historical vote to legalize marijuana. There are several ways to get involved with the Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol in Alaska by block walking and phone banking. The effectiveness of these tried and true “get-out-the-vote” methods cannot be overstated!

The deadline to vote is October 5. Register to vote and find your polling place. Election Day is November 4, 7:00am-8:00pm. Consider getting friends and family registered and make sure they get to the polls on Election Day.

Alaska legalized medical cannabis in 1998. The state also has no criminal penalty for up to 4 ounces of marijuana in one’s residence.
